LSWC – Bursary 2025

Elliott & Rosche Memorial Bursary
Created in 2020 in honor of two of the LSWC’s founding and longest serving directors Brian Elliott and Brian Rosche, the Bursary is given annually to a student pursuing post secondary education in the sciences.
This year – we will have two bursaries of $1500 each

Att: Elliott & Rosche Memorial Bursary - Deadline May 1st
- Awarded Applicant will be announced June 6th
- Recipients have the opportunity to double their money through the Northern Alberta Development Council’s bursary matching program.
The following documentation needs to be submitted with your application:
- Proof of residency E.g: rental agreement, bill with address, photocopy of ID, etc.
- Completed application form
- Two letters of recommendation E.g: From a former teacher, employer or other non-family member
- Proof of enrollment or official transcript from the institution you’ll be attending
- Brief personal essay answering the following questions:
- How will this bursary support your academic pursuits?
- In what ways have or how will you contribute to the communities in our watershed? * Please keep under 500 words.
- Resume: Please include relevant extracurricular, volunteer experiences & work history.
